WAYPOINTS

A waypoint is similar to the last known point of origin, except you create the waypoint before leaving that point to possibly investigate the area and plan your next move. The best way to do this is to tie something highly visible (for example, an orange shemagh) to an object in your current line of travel. Then you can go anywhere in any direction to plan your next change in travel bearing, as long as you never lose sight of the waypoint, or last known point of origin.
